Bodywork for breastfeeding
About our bodywork services:
Bodywork can be incredibly beneficial for both the baby and the mother who is experiencing difficulties with breastfeeding. Bodywork techniques such as myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, massage and reflexology can help to release tension in the baby's body, particularly in the head, neck, and jaw, which can improve their ability to latch and feed effectively. Additionally, bodywork can help to alleviate discomfort in the baby's digestive system, such as colic or reflux, which can also impact their ability to breastfeed comfortably. For the mother, infant bodywork can help to improve milk supply and reduce pain and discomfort associated with breastfeeding. It can also be a valuable tool for promoting bonding and connection between the mother and baby.
If you are experiencing difficulties with breastfeeding, contact us to discuss incorporating infant bodywork into your postpartum care plan to support both you and your baby.
